Summer League resumes again on Tuesday after it's holiday break. At the nearly half-way stage, CHASE have already taken a comfortable lead on the league table, winning all their games and putting them 5 points clear of second place Deep Heat. Will anyone be able to stop them?
Tuesday also sees the summer league debut of late starters, Ultra Mega Super Magic Sparkle Angelfish Go! 3: EX Plus Alpha (or Angelfish if you're pressed for time). Rumour has it Angelfish have spent the previous 2 months in extensive training swimming in preparation for summer league. Already holders of the Christmas Special 2008 title and after falling under the Hammer at Love Easter, Angelfish will surely be looking to prove they have what it takes. They may even provide a few upsets along the way.
With CHASE dominating the top and Angelfish a current unknown, the middle of the table seems to be where all the excitement is. With Deep Heat and The Swerve battling it out for second, and LDW and Kebab Hammer battling it out for not last, Tuesday's match ups are vital for each team, and may well prove decisive in deciding each teams final finishing positions.
One things for sure, the second half of the Summer League looks to be even more exciting than the first.
