They thought that it would never happen but we had faith and finally the impossible has become reality....Kebab Hammer won a game!

The draw with LDW was an excellent moment because it was a really good game against the most friendly team in the League (surely they won Spirit?) but to beat a team of the pedigree of Deep Heat was a truely excellent moment!

Some may point to the fact that it was an Ironman 4 a side game and that while we were at full strength (yes 4 is our full strength, but it is a quality 4) Deep Heat were without their charismatic leader but we played some good frisbee! Modesty prevents me from going on to much about the best moments of the game but for me to catch them someone else had to throw them so it will go down in Kebab Hammer team history as an all-round great team performance.

If the truth is to be told we just came out on the right side of a very close game as Deep Heat came back from 5 down to within 2 points. Had the game not finished early by mutual consent due to injuries then I am sure that Deep Heat’s greater skill with the disc would have seen them victorious or at least getting a draw out of the match.
